He and Sarah moved to Maury Co, TNthere 1808-1813 After war 1812 in 1816 wife &9 children/plus servantsflat-boated to TX., with Milam Colony, arriving in 1818 in old MillerCo, now TX A Mason. Had ten children. Buried on his farm. A Red Riverflood washed away the graveyard. The farm is now part of TX near whatwas once Jonesboro Sara: William was Methodist and Sarah Presbyterian. Sarah was said to have been engaged at one time to William Henry Harrison, so named one of her sons for him. After death of William, she remarried Andrew Caldwellwho had ten children.
