Will of William Rabon South Carolina Horry District In the name of God, amen I William Rabon being of perfect mind memory and understandingdo make this my Last Will and Testament, in the maner and formfollowing: first I recommend my soul to Almighty God who gaveit and my body to be burried in a christian like manner-andtouching such worldly goods as it hath pleased God to bless mewith I dispose of in the following manner to Wit- Item 1 - I desire that all my just debts speedly and punctiallypaid. Item 2 - I give and bequeth to my son George H. Rabon on tractof land where he now lives containing one hundred and thirteenacres, one horse named Pompy. Bridle and sadle, two cows andcalves, two sows and pigs, one bed and furniture, which propertyhas already been delivered. Item 3 - I give and bequeth unto my son Isiah Rabon, two hundredacres of land known as the Able Field tract. One horse namedMaximus, bridle and saddle. Two cows with calves, twenty headof hogs, one bed and furniture which property has already beendelivered. Item 4 - I give and bequeth to my daughter Mary Ann Jones, wifeof Jefferson Jones, two cows with calves, one dry cow, one bedand furniture which property has already been delivered. Item 5 - I give and bequeth to my son Daniel H. Rabon, threehundred acres of land as a deed made to him will describe, sevenhead of hogs which property has been delivered. Item 6 - I give and bequeth unto my son Jeremiah Rabon, twohundred and seventy acres of land adjoining Pettiway CartretLand as a deed made to him will more full describe. Item 7 - I give and bequeth unto my son David Rabon, theplantation where I now live, containing two hundred acres moreor less. Item 8 - Lend unto my daughter in law, Olif Rabon, widow of mybeloved son Willian H. Rabon, late of HOrry Dist. deceased, onetract of land where he formerly lived containing one hundred andtwenty-five acres. It being part of the Benja Moore tractadjoining land of John Squires. Ten head of stock cattle,thirteeen head of hogs and one sow and pigs and at her death ormarriage I give the same to her child which she may have by saidson WHR. But if she should die leaving no heirs by said sonthen the saed land and stock of cattle and hogs to return to mysurviving children to share and share alike. Item 9 - I lend unto my beloved wife Mary Rabon during hernatural life time the plantation where I know live and at herdeath to be delivered up to my son David. Also, I lend unto mysaid wife all of my house hold and kitchen furniture all myplantation tools of all description, all of my stock horses,cattle, hogs, and sheep, one hand mill, one set of black smithtools and one cart and at her death then to be ewually devidedbetween my three youngest sons, Danile, David, and Jeremiah.Share and share alike, but of one of them should die leaving nolawful issue, the above property to be divided between thesurviving two. It is also my will an ddesire that Aunt Mary Huxdo live with my wife Mary during her life time and that she besupported out of the above mentioned property and if she shouldsurvive my said wife, then it is my will that sons DanielJeremiah and David so support her the remainder part of her lifetime. Item 10 - I do nominate constitute and appoint my son George H.Rabon and WI Graham executors to this my last will and testamenthereby revoking all other will made by me in witness where of Ihave here unto my hand and seas this the fifteenth day ofOctober in the year of out Lord one thousand Eight hundred andFifty Three and in the Seventy Eighth year of AmericanIndependence. his William X Rabon (seal) mark Signed Sealed Published pronounced and declared in the presents of-- John W.
