Notes from the FTM site of Frances Pruett Limonzaine: On 30 Nov., 1861, enlisted in Confederate Army, Company F, 47th Infantry; was in Battle of Shiloh, Battle of Chattanooga, imprisioned in Greensboro, S.C. was surrendered and released at the end of the war. He, with only a few others walked back to Gibson Co., Tenn. This infantry started out with 1000 men; and only 13 survived.
