1901- William Thomas Towells Plumb was living at 18 Gibson Street,Greenwich, London, England with his parents and younger brother and sister, uncle and a boarder. Age 9. Profession or occupation undefined (ie, it doesn't even say 'scholar'). William married Alice Loveday, also of Greenwich, some time during WW1, in which he fought. After the war they emmigrated to South Africa. Their first child, Dick, was born in either England or Zimbabwe on 14/11/1920. The secondchild, Dennis, was born on18/1/1922 in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia). Family settled in Cape Town, South Africa. William died of a brain haemmorage in 1943 whileDennis was fighting in WW2.
