[Note: the presentation by Wyman hints that William is the son of Edmund of Cambridge who is the #1 entry for Pinson in this source, but he does not actually say that, and no birth record for a son William is found. There is a William Pinson of Salem, who has a son William in 1677 but the son apparently died young as he is not mentioned in his will of 1695 [Essex probate 22021] He does, however, mentions William Pinson, son of his kinsman Thomas Pinson. More research into the parentage is needed.]
