WILLIAM J. PERCIVAL, NBC NEWS WRITER, IS DEAD
William J. Percival, 48, NBC News writer, died suddenly
early today. He had been with NBC News since 1958, and most recently
was a writer for "The Pressman-Ryan Report" daily news program on
WNBC-TV, New York.
Mr. Percival was formerly a writer-editor for the New York
World-Telegram & Sun and the Chicago Daily News. He had also worked
for Tex McCrary Inc. and the New York City Department of Commerce. He
was a captain in the U. S. Air Force in World War II.
He is survived by his wife and a son and a daughter.
