Injuries Prove Fatal to William C. Page
William Clair PAGE of 411 Cedar street, aged 26, died at 3:20 o'clock yesterday
afternoon of injuries sustained Sept 3. in an accident at Fairview, near
Fairmont, W Va. He was employed as a truck driver on a road construction job and
sustained a fracture of the spine when the machine went over an embankment. For
several weeks Mr. Page was a patient in Allegheny General hospital, Pittsburg,
but was brought to his home Oct 2, one day before the death of his father,
William H. Page. William Clair Page was born at Mineral Point Aug 10, 1901, a
son of the late William H. Page and of Mrs. Florence SMITH Page of 411 Cedar
street. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hazel RICE Page; his mother; a
daughter, Freda Page, aged 16 months; two sisters, Agnes, wife of Joseph
THOMPSON, Mineral Point, and Mrs. Freda WILLIAMS, Mineral Point. Mr. Page was a
member of Barron avenue U.B. church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2
o'clock Thursday afternoon at the residence, in charge of the Rev. W. E. Seese,
pastor of the Belsano M. E. church, and the Rev. Mr. Staley, pastor of the
Conemaugh Progressive Brethren church. Interment will be in Wesley Chapel.
