  • 5 Apr 1753, Anson County, North Carolina. William Nutt, Jr., received a land patent on 5 Apr 1753 for 190 acres lying in Anson County on the South side of Waxhaw Creek.
  • 14 Feb 1754, William Nutt Jr. received a deed from John Patterson and his wife Elizabeth of Rowan County for 596 acres on the south side of Twelve Mile Creek. The deed was witnessed by Henry Hendry (Henry) and James McCorkel who had sold in Beverly Manor and settled in the Waxhaw settlement.
