Apparently never married - no wife or children mentioned in his will. William Nodding, who died in Washington Co., Tenn., leaving a Will dated Sept. 15, 1792; probated, May, 1793, in which he mentions: sister Elizabeth Calvert father William Nodding nephew John Calvert brother John Nodding, deceased sisters Elinor Hill Sarah McCray Mary Bayles Alis Brown [Alice Nodding m. John Brown in Montgomery Co., Md., on Oct 1, 1778.] Executors: Daniel McCray and William Calvert. May 1793 - Washington Co., TN Will of William Nodding, Jr. admitted to probate.
