   SUDDEN DEATH OF WILLIAM H. MYERS
   Had Been a Resident of This community for Twenty-one Years
   
   This community was shocked last Saturday morning when it was learned that Wm. H. Myers a prominent farmer living south of town on the state road had died very suddenly at his home the evening before. Mr. Myers had been to Blanchard Friday afternoon and seemed to be in his usual
   health, had eaten a good supper and gone to the barn to do the evening chores where he was taken sick and was helped to the house by his son Lee. Dr. Dawson was called and he gave some medicine and Mr. Myers seemed to be doing nicely. The doctor had several calls to make and
   expected to return in about an hour and a half when Dr. Kelsey of Lakeview would be present for consultation. In a short time, however, there was a change for the worse and the doctor was called again, but before he could get there Mr. Myers had passed away.
   
   The funeral was held yesterday (Tuesday) at the M.E. church, Rev. C.F. Grim officiating. Interment at the Blanchard cemetery.
   
   OBITUARY
   William Henry Myers, son of Edward and Alice Wheeler Myers, was born May 3, 1874 at Woodland, Barry county, Mich., and died at his home in Rolland township January 4, 1924, aged 49 years, 8 months and one day.
   He was married to Jennie Jarrard April 28, 1903.
   
   He leaves besides a wife and son, a mother, one brother, Floyd, one sister, Mrs. Shumway of Alma, two uncles, Frank Myers of Lake Odessa, Dan M. Myers of Owosso, two aunts, Mrs. Curtiss and Mrs. Durkee of Woodland, besides numerous other relatives.
   
   He was a resident of Isabella county about 21 years. He was a consistent member of the U. B. church at Pleasant View.
