Pte W Mudie Regimental Number 5490854 in the 1922 Hampshire Regimental Journal, it says that he joined ‘X’ Company, the 2nd Battalion from the Regimental Depot 15/3/1923. He was also awarded a 3rd Class Certificate of Education in 1923. 1924 he is listed as having gained a 2nd Class Certificate of Education on 1/8/1924. 1925 a 1st Good Conduct Badge is gained on 14/11/1924.
