Resided: Kibbert (Kibbart) Farm nr. Stranraer, Scotland. William was either married twice, or Jean was also called Margaret, because this William's widow Margaret, emigrated to Galt, Ontario, Canada with her son, James, in 1823.

William was a farmer. Also resided at Crainbrook Farm, Kirkcolm Parish when the children were young. They apparently returned to Kibbert Farm, as Margaret was living there in 1823, shortly before emigration to Canada.
