Biography: William Forsyth Milroystudied medicine at the University of Rochester and the Johns HopkinsHospital. He graduated from the College of Physicians and Surgeons,University of Columbia, in 1882 and had his internship in New York. Hecommenced practice in Omaha, Nebraska, and in 1885 he was appointedprofessor of histological pathology at the New University medicalcollege. In 1894 he became professor of clinical medicine at the University of Nebraska. He retired in 1933.
