   WILLIAM McKINNEY--The funeral of William V. McKinney
   who died last week at his home near Pickard Mills, was
   held Friday afternoon from the Hills Baptist Church.
   Mr. McKinney was past 70 years of age at the time of his
   death having been born on June 13, 1846 (actually June 30th).
   He was one of the pioneer settlers in the eastern part of the
   county and was a highly respected citizen of the community.
   About the year 1871, he was united in marriage to Miss Ward,
   to whom were born 10 children, four of whom survive.
   His wife died June 21, 1914. The children are Mrs. Myrtle
   Templeton of Kirklin; Miss Clara McKinney, at home, and Ted
   and Homer, who reside in that vicinity.
