Regular Baptist Church. William Mccown was a Primitive and Old Regular Baptist Minister, with service in many churches in Pike and Floyd Counties from the late 1830's to at least 1881. He was the elected moderator of the Long Fork Old Reg. Baptist Church (Long Fork, Pike Co. KY) when it was formed in 1877, as an arm of 8 original members out of the Mt. Zion Church near Craynor in Floyd Co. (copy of original records)
