A wedding of interest to their many Sycamore friends, was that of Miss Edna Mawhinney and Mr. Everett Maitland, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Mawhinney, 828 West 35th street, on Wednesday afternoon, February 27, at 5 o'clock.

The beautiful ring ceremony was used and, and Rev. Claude S. Moore, formerly of this city, pronounced them man and wife, in the presence of their families and a few intimate friends. The bride was beautifully gowned in white and was attended by Miss Della Parry of DeKalb, as bridesmaid.

The groom was attended by his cousin, Mr. Frank Stark, of this city, as best man.

After an inviting wedding dinner, the young couple started on a short wedding tour, after which they will be at home on the farm belonging to the groom's father, northeast of town.

The bride or groom need no introduction to our readers. The bride is well and favorably known In Sycamore being a graduate of the Sycamore high school, and held in high esteem by a large circle of friends.
