William Burdette "WB" Legg, 83, of Quinwood passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Stonerise in Rainelle.
He was born on June 29, 1939, in Quinwood, West Virginia, he was the son of the late William "Bunny" Legg and June Burke Legg Gasper.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Patsy (Smith) Legg; daughter, Misty Legg and son- in –law, Allen McMillion.
William was a US Army Veteran, retired Coal Miner and a member of the Mt. Urim Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Andrea (Hall) Legg; son, Anthony (Natalie) Holland of Rainelle; two daughters Kimberly (James) Murphy of New Port Richey, Florida and Von "Nickie" Holland of Crystal Beach, Florida; Grandchildren, William (Brandy), Joshua (Sara), Holley (Cory), Kenneth (Kacey), Jacqueline (Tanner) and Daleea (Brirly) and nine great grandchildren. Also, in laws, Dale and Ruth Hall of Quinwood, two sisters- in- laws, Donna (Kevin) Moore of Rainelle, Melanie Bevins of Quinwood and brother-in-law, Perry (Amy) Hall of Lewisburg. He will also be missed by much loved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Stonerise Rainelle and Hospice Care of Lewisburg for the wonderful care and support that was given. Also, a special thank you to personal caregivers Brenda Sizemore, Charlotte King and Terri Walton.
Service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2022 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle with Pastor Larry Gawthrop officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until time of service.
