- ↑ "KING= William R. "Bill" King, 64, of Johnstown, passed on to heaven onSaturday, April 20, 2002. Devoted and loving husband, father,grandfather and great grandfather. Born in Columbus to the late Helen[Jones] and Russell King on November 20, 1937. Bill had retired fromRockwell International in Newark as a member of U.A.W. Local 1037. A 43year member of Johnstown Masonic Lodge No. 86 F&AM, 28 year member andpast Worthy Patron of OES and was a member of the Concorde LibertyBaptist Church. Among Bill's many passions was the participation incoaching Junior High Football for Johnstown in Newark Catholic schoolsas well as Johnstown Youth League Baseball. Survived by his wife,Patricia [Dague) King; and was blessed with three children, Pamela [Jay]Mauger of Midland, Michigan, Peggy Fain of Johnstown and William DavidKing of Columbus; four grandchildren, Christie Varner, Brandon Fain,William Russell Fain, Colton Mauger; and 4 great-grandchildren. Friendsmay call at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons funeral home, Johnstown on Tuesdayfrom 2-4 and 6-9 P. M. with a Masonic service starting at 8:45 PM.Funeral service will be held at Concorde Liberty Baptist Church, 7705Concorde Road, Johnstown on Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at 2 PM. PastorDavid Sedziol officiating. Interment Concorde Cemetery. Memorialcontributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 151 LakeStreet, Lancaster, Ohio 43130."
