WILLIAM KEPLINGER was born in 1846 at Virginia. He appeared on the census of 1850 at Hardy County, Virginia. He appeared on the census of 1860 at Laurelton, Hardy County, Virginia. He was killed while trying to remove black powder from civil war ordnance he found. His brother James was also present there, and bore scars from the incident.
