"William W., born Aug. 19, 1836, in Sangamon county. He served three months in Co. F, 70th Ill. Inf.; and enlisted in May, 1864, for one hundred days, in Co. I, 133d Ill. Inf., served full term, and was honorably discharged. He is Postmaster, at Dawson, and lives with his mother -- 1874.  In the 1880 census for Dawson, Sangamon Co., Illinois, 'Reegin A. Judd' is a farmer, age 33 from Illinois, (father Kentucky, mother Ohio).  His wife Sarah is 30, born Illinois, (father Ohio, mother Illinois).  Their daughter is Nellie, 8 months.  His mother, Eve Judd, is 75, born Ohio (parents Pennsylvania) and his brother Walter W., is 43, 'works on farm' and brother 'Marcus Lee' is 38, a 'coal miner' -- both born Illinois.  {p.394b, NARA T9-0249}  His brother Nelson Judd is in Clear Lake, Sangamon Co.

 In the 1910 census for Mechanicsburg, Sangamon Co. Illinois, William W. Judd is 74 IL (KY, OH), 'retail merchant - grocery' married 21 years; with wife Eliza 60 OH (OH, OH), with 0 of 0 children living ; and brother Marcus L. 68 IL,  single.
 In 1920 Eliza is 70, widow, living alone..
