William³ (Johnson) (Joseph²) was born Jan, 15, 1669; married the widow Abigail Roberds Jan. 31, 1721; and died about 1744 when his son was appointed his administrator. Mrs. Johnson was born Sept. 29, 1691, the daughter of Samuel and Martha (Corlis) Lad, married first Samuel Roberds by whom she had a son Samuel, and died Aug. 2, 1736. Her first husband died Mar. 29, 1720. William Johnson was a snowshoe man in 1710; and five years a selectman of Haverhill. The inventory of his estate came to £139.19.9.
