Obituary WILLIAM HOSLER OF ECHO DIES, HEART ATTACK

Echo- Services were held Sunday for William Hosler from the Diton-Ebert Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glen Cornett officiating, and under the auspices of Central Lake V.F.W. Post 6985, at Southern Cemetery.
Born February 1, 1889, Mr. Hosler died unexpectedly at his residence in Echo Township August 12, from a heart attack. He is survived by three brothers, Lester and Clarence, both of Echo, and Danial(sic) of Flint; three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Maude) Bergmann and Mrs. Alfred (Theresa) Walden, both of East Jordan, and Mrs. Clyde (Ruby) LePeer of Echo; nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hosler was a well driller in this area for many years. A veteran of World War I, he was with the famed Polar Bears and was active in the organization of that name for many years. He was still an active member of the Michigan Well Drillers Assn. in the area.
'Bill' and his infectious good humor and his friendly deeds towards neighbors and friends are well-known.
