Obituary East Jordan -- Funeral services for Mrs. Carl (Maud) Bergmann, 73, who died Monday at Grandvue Medical Care Facility where she had been a patient for a month, will be held at the Watson Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Arden Barden, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in the German Settlement cemetery. Born in Antrim county Mar 19, 1899, the former Maud Hosler was married to Mr. Bergmann Oct. 23, 1921. They always made their home in Wilson township. He preceded her in death in 1963. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Jordan. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Ernie (Virginia) Allen of Sault Ste. Marie, Mrs. Vincent (Audrey) Simon and Mrs. William (Phyllis) Simon, both of Petoskey, Mrs. Jerry (Judith) Morey of Gaylord and Mrs. Harley (Helen) Argetsinger of East Jordan; three sons, Carl A. of Sault Ste. Marie, Herman Larry of Boyne City and S/Sgt. Paul A., stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky, with the U.S. Army; 49 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Hosler, of East Jordan and Clarence Hosler, of Ellsworth and two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Walden of East Jordan and Mrs. Clyde LePeer of Central Lake.
