WILSON NELSON HOLT WAS THE SIBLING OF CHARLES DAVIS, GERTRUDE, BERTHA MARIE AND STERLING ELBERT.

OBITUARY – WILSON NELSON HOLT
13 MAR 1885 - 19 NOV 1959
ROGERSVILLE – Wilson N. Holt, 74, Surgoinsville, died at Holston Valley Community Hospital at 4:40 a.m. Thursday.
Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. James Smawley of Kingsport, Mrs. Fred Lawson of Owensville, Md., Mrs. Wiley Housewright of Church Hill, Mrs. Clinton Armstrong of Surgoinsville and Mrs. Clarence Mitchell of Harwood, Md.; six sons: Elbert Holt of Martinsville, Md., Mitchell Holt of Eidson, Green D. Holt of Church Hill, Nelson Holt, Gale R. Holt and Elmer K. Holt of Surgoinsville; 33 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Gertie Pridemore of Pennington Gap, Va.; one brother, C. D. Holt of Jonesville, Va.; one half sister, Mrs. Bertha Glass of Iowa; one half brother, Sterling Holt of Pennington Gap, Va.
Funeral services will be held at the Wallen’s Bend Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Kyle Price, the Rev. Hoyt Minor and the Rev. Shafter Shaw will be in charge of services. Burial will be in the Baker’s Cemetery at Kyles Ford.
The body was removed from the Colboch-Price Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Friday to the home of his son Mitchell Holt at Eidson.
