    "7. William Hoadley … born 10 December 1692 in Branford, Conn.; died 27 October 1736 in Branford; married 7 January 1718 in Branford, Mary Harrison, daughter of Capt. Nathaniel and Hannah (Frisbie) Harrison, born 24 April 1696 in Branford. She was married, second, 19 February 1742 in Branford, to Samuel Rose of Branford. She died 28 October 1747 in Branford. William Hoadley was one of the first inhabitants of that part of Branford which is now Northford, settling there about 1720. He lived at Hopyard Plain and died of apoplexy. He was a considerable land owner."
