William Eugene Heath

A native of Atlanta, he was the husband of the late Delilah Isley Heath, and the son of William Ollie Heath and Kitty Ellen Griffin Heath, both deceased. He was the owner of Heath Knitting Mill until retirement in 1995. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where he was a former deacon. Survivors include three daughters, Ms. Linda Ellen Bright of the home and Mrs.. Billie Anne Young and Mrs.. Mary Jean Burgess, both of Mebane; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one stepgrandchild and one great-stepgrandchild. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs.. Myrtle Heath Smith and Mrs.. Doris Heath Gunn; and a brother, Mr. Ollie Edward Heath. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Fellowship Baptist Church by the Rev. Ken Simpson. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence.
