In the Name of God Amen I William Heaselton of the City of Philadelphia in the Province of Pennsylvania a Mariner . . . . All my Just Debts & funeral Expences be duly paid and satisified . . . And I do give and bequeath unto my Son William my largest Silver Salver together with one Case of Silver Handled Knives & forks I do give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Meriam and unto my two Daughters Sophia and Meriam Heaselton the Remainder of all my Plate Together also with all and Singular my Household Furniture to be Equally divided between them Share & Share alike And I do give devise and bequeath unto my said Wife Meriam and two Daughters Sophia & Meriam Heasleton my House & Lot of Ground with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging Situate on the West Side of Front Street in the city of Philadelphia . . . . Immediately on the decease of my said Wife the part and Share of my Estate real & personal hereby given or intended for her shall go to and be equally divided between my said two Daughters Share and Share alike . . . . If it should happen that Either of my said daughters die unmarried and without lawful Issue the part and Share of my Estate hereby given or intended for such decedend shall go to the Survivor of them her Heirs & Assigns for Ever . . . Concerning all the rest residue and remainder of my Monies Goods Chattles . . . Either real personal or mixed I do give devise and bequeath the same and Every part and parcel thereof unto my said Three Children William Sophia and Meriam to be equally divided between them Share and Share alike And what I have herein given or intended for my said wife shall be deemed and taken to be in Lieu and as full Satisfaction of her Dower . . .
