AKA: "Will"; William John Ingram Harris

Born in the Romford Workhouse William lost his mother at an early age and didn’t know his father. Raised by his maternal grandparents William grew up to work in the fields around Barkingside. His grandfather owned the ‘Britannia’ public house which appears to have served the agricultural labourers of the land with beer. William developed his skills as a malster and moved from the fields of Barkingside, Essex to the heart of London’s East-end where William became a Master Malster.

Questions:

- Father of Levi J Harris. Inherited the maternal surname Harris as the father was not directly included on William's birth certificate (a blank space). The choice of William's first & middle name on his birth certificate suggests that his father was William Ingram. There are 2 William Ingram's that live locally to William's mother in Barkingside around the time of William's birth.
