 William W. Groff, 77, of Confluence, died June 24, 1986, in Garrett Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Md.  Born Sept. 2, 1908, in Confluence, a son of the late Calvin L. and Jennie (Wingeroth) Groff.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret.
