1901 - With wife, daughter and 2 servants at 2 Oxford Street, Daventry, Northampton. Veterinary surgeon, aged 36. Birthplace recorded as Grantham, Lincolnshire.

William attended university in London (and Edinburgh?) taking a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (M.R.C.V.S.) and established a practice in Daventry about 1892 in partnership with another vet. ? Reynolds. William specialized in the treatment of horses and dogs, and Reynolds specialized in the treatment of cattle.
