https://pubdocs.huroncounty.ca/WebLink/DocView.aspx?id=409740 Wednesday of last week Wm. Gordon, formerly of Brussels, passed away at Niagara Falls, aged 56 years. The remains were brought to Brussels for interment, the funeral being held last Monday afternoon from the home of his brother-in-law, Wm. Dark, service being conducted by Rev. A. J. Mann. Mr Gordon was born at Cranbrook and was married to Miss Mary Dark, of the same locality, who survives her husband. They lived in Brussels for 10 to 12 years. Cause of death was pneumonia. Mr. Gordon had been ill for about 4 weeks. Deceased was a carpenter by trade and a good mechanic and well known in the community. He was a member of Court Cranbrook, C.O.F. and the funeral was under their direction. Mrs. Gordon and Garfield and Mrs. McDonald and son accompanied the remains to Brussels. Sympathy is tendered Mrs. Gordon in her bereavement.
