    Passes Away in Her 83rd Year -- A highly respected resident passed to her reward, Thursday evening, Nov 21st, in the person of Mrs. William Pawson. Before her marriage her maiden name was Catharine Gordon. Deceased was born in Scotland and came to Canada when quite small. In later years was united in marriage to William Pawson who predeceased her in 1913. To this union eight children were born, Mrs. J. Thomson, Mrs. Jno. Heibein, Mrs. William Lowe and Ben deceased. Mrs. William (Hudson) Lowe, of Englefield, Sask., Mrs. Clarke Hayden, Fergus and William, of Brussels. Mrs. Pawson lived in this locality practically all her life had a cheerful disposition and a smile for every one who met her. She had always enjoyed fairly good health, until she suffered a stroke six months ago. Since then she has been cnfined to her bed the most of the time. There are 36 grandchildren. Funeral was held Sunday from home of her son-in-law Alex. McDonald, interment in Brussels cemetery. Friend and relatives have the sympathy of the community.
