U.S. Army Ret. : Gaulden, William T. - born 1752 in King William County, Virginia; entered service 1776-7 when he resided in Bedford County, Virginia; moved 8 years after Revolutionary War to Pittsylvania County, Virginia, where he was granted Pension in 1833; died there 9/1841; granted Pension in 1798 by Virginia for disability from wounds at Battle of Guilford; married 11/19/1834 to Malissa/Malisa Burnett, Pittsylvania County, VA; widow granted Pension there in 1853 abt. age 46; they had children Plley & Jabez; soldier's surname also spelled Gaulding.
