Daily Times-News, The Thursday, June 08, 1972 WILLIAM 0. (Ot) 76 Of Rt. 2, Graham died this morning in Chapel Hill after 11 months of failing health and a week Of critical illness. A native of Alamance County, son of the late Monroe GARRETT and Arlene GARRETT He was first married to the late Mrs.. Eula and later was married to Mrs.. Bessie Coble Garrett. Other than his wife, survivors include One daughter, Mrs.. Evelyn Moody Of Rt. 2 Siler City; two sons, James V. GARRETT of Rt. 3, Graham, and Jack Garrett Of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs.. Annie Allred and Mrs.. Sally Euliss, both of Burlington; 17 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren. Final rites will be held Saturday afternoon at O'clock at Concord United Methodist; Church. The Rev. C. Nathan John Ray, pastor of Moore's Chapel Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at McClure Funeral Home in Graham until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. According to Rex Isley, the children listed in the obit are not William's natural children. A case of the mumps left William unable to have children. References
