This SSDI date of death differs from the d/o/d on his tombstone and on his memorial record at Find-a-Grave. The inscription on the tombstone is 1965 but the photo is a bit smudged and it could even be 1968. The memorial record #6834121 gives his d/o/d as 15 Mar 1965. As William's widow, Edna, remarried in 1972, the 1965 date appears correct. A death certificate would verify the doubtful situation.
