I, William Fulton of Augusta County and State of Virginia being of sound mind and knowing the uncertainty of life being desirous of setteling my worldly affairs.

First - I give my sole to Good to whom give it I direct my funeral expense and just debts paid.

2th - I leve to my sister Martha the one half of her support during her life to be charged to my estate and as to Rachel Hayes and Cyrus Strong and Amanda East I think my brother Hugh Fulton has give them all the are entitled.

3rd I leve to Harvey Fulton's children the one half of all of my real and personal estate and the other half to my brother John Fulton's children of any real and personal estate after the above charges is paid_

4th and lastly I appointe my friend Harvey Fulton and John Carson my executors of this my last will and testament written in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty and twenty ninth day May

Probate 25 Feb 1857 The Augusta County Court - February the 23rd 1857

This Last will and Testament of William Fulton dec'd was presented in Court and proved by the oaths of William Beard & William Lusk son of the sub... witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded And there upon John Carson one of the executors names in the said will appeared in Court and refused to take upon himself the burden of its execution, and on the motion of Harvey Fulton the other executor named who made oath according to land? with Robert J Gledy his security (who justified as to his sufficiency) entered into a bond in the same of Six thousand dollars, ...and with condition directed by law which bond was acknowledged in Court by the obli... and ordered to be recorded Certificate is granted the said Harvey Fulton for obtaining a probate of said will in due form.
