About William Patterson Foust

William Patterson Foust (1812-1867) married Letitia Witten Lowe (1819-1883), daughter of Andrew Lowe, Jr. (1793-bef. 1868) and Jane Witten (1797-1855). They married on 23 Jan 1841 in Roane County, Tennessee. Both William Foust and his wife Letitia were originally buried in the Lowe Cemetery in Rhea County, Tennessee, which was flooded in abt. 1941 after the Tennessee Valley Authority bought the property for the Watts Bar Dam. Their coffins were reburied in Marsh Cemetery, Rhea County, Tennessee.
