- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 William Forster came with Hannah Forster when she married Robert Willey, his name was subsequently changed to William Willey. He, William, was around 5 or 6 years old. Hannah was born and named Forster but after her father, Cuthbert Foster died the family became known as Goston. See 1861 Census, Wideopen Colliery House, Wideopen, Weetslade. When Hannah married Robert she had changed hers and Williams surname back to Forster.
