>From other notes, I have that William Fail, son of Lewis Fail and Mary Free Fail, was born in Lancaster County SC Nov 15, 1784, near Bladen Springs. That he died in Washington County Alabama about 1826, shot and killed by an unknown person. That he married in SC to Elizabeth Feshpemurs who died in Washington County Alabama about 1859. That they were Methodists.

Children: Alfred born 1816 in Alabama died 1886; Elezer born 1819; Nancy born 1822; Elizabeth born 1824; and Dixon born 1825 in Alabama, died 1881 in Texas

Would appreciate any further history you can share of the family. And also, have you been able to prove the chidren of "Old Thomas" of NC and SC (father of Lewis)?
