Relative and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services at his late home, No. 815 Chew street, on Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock. Further services and interment at Lynnville Church on Wednesday at 9:30.

The death notice indicates nothing of this, nor did I notice an article describing any such incident, so no further details are known.
