It is curious that the two children were born so many years apart, and that the first born son was not the one given the Jr. name. Therefore, these data may need added documentation. Epperly and Andrew Jackson Epperly were brothers. William married Mary M. Braucht, dau. of Joh and Catherine (Ritter) Braucht. Andrew married Lovina/Louisa Braucht, dau. of Daniel and Catherine (Spreacher) Braucht. William E. Epperly, Jr./III (Billy) married Vienna Gilmore, sister of Mrs. Johh Braucht, Jr. (Jeanette Gilmore)".
