OBITUARY MR ERNEST EDDY After having suffered very severely, though most patiently, for over 12 months, Mr Ernest Eddy , of the Farmer's Arms Hotel, breathed his last on Friday night last. Since the first day that the malady with which he was afflicted manifested itself, Mr Eddy received the best medical attention that could be secured, in addition to the loving ministrations of his wife, who sought by every means that could be suggested to assuage his suffering and comfort him in the few months that were left him. Of a quiet disposition, he yet made many friends, who sincerely sympthise with the widow and family of one girl and two boys in their sad loss. A brother of the deceased gentleman is Mr W. T. Eddy, a former resident of Numurkah, and who for a term represented Coolgardie in the W.A. State Parliament. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon, Rev. E. Hankinson conducting the service at the grave. Mr A. Dunn had charge of the arrangements.
