Dodson, William - entered service 1776 in Shenandoah County, Virginia, where born in Shenandoah River [tnen in Frederick County] on 3/29/1758; moved after Revolutionary War to Nelson County, Kentucky, there granted Pension in 1833; query letter in file 1938 from great great grandson J.M. Dodson, San Francisco, California, states soldier resided in Bardstown, Kentucky when granted Pension. F-S30994, R828.
