William Davis is thought to be a brother of John Davis who died in Garrard County, Kentucky in 1817. There appears to be a connection through the Duncan family of Garrard County, Kentucky. The will of John Davis was witnessed by a Stephen C. Duncan and the son-in-law of William Davis was listed as Thomas Duncan. Additional research is needed to prove this suspected relationship.
