William John Dalzell

Facts and Events
William appears in some capacity in Pittsburgh city directories from 1850 to 1862, living at 717 Penn and listed as a carpenter or pattern maker. Robert is often not listed, although does appear in 1859 and 1860. William's son Robert M. is living at the same address in 1866, and his daughter Elizabeth in 1868 (both gone by 1871).
There is also "Dalzell, J. & W., carpenters, Pike Street, 5th Ward" in 1841. It appears that they split by 1847 into "Wm J, carpenter, Penn between Locust and Pine" and "Jas., carpenter, Pike between O'Hara and Walnut"
