    William M. Crumrine

    Jan. 6, 1929 - Aug. 21, 2001

    William M. Crumrine of Redmond died Tuesday of natural causes. He was 72.

    A private service will be held for him.

    Mr. Crumrine was born Jan. 6, 1929, in Newberg to Clifford and Nellie (Kinney) Crumrine. He married Lou Ellen Flake on Aug. 5, 1950, in Port Orford.

    He served two tours of duty of Vietnam.

    Mr. Crumrine was in the US Coast Guard for 32 years. He retired on May 31, 1978, as a CW04 Warrant Officer. He lived in Redmond for over seven years.

    Survivors include his wife of Redmond; one daughter, Kathleen Underberg of Redmond; one brother, Jack of Sisters; and two grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his son and parents.
