William Crawford's will - - To brother, James Crawford, tracts purchased by my father, James Crawford, deceased, from Jacob Eversole and James Givens; to sister, Elizabeth McClung; to sister, Mary Allen; to brother, John Crawford; to mother, Mary Crawford. Executors, brothers James Crawford and brother-in-law John Allen. Teste: James Crawford, Jr.; Ch. A. Stuart. 23rd November, 1818, executors qualify.

The will mentions wife Isabela, son James, daughters (not named), brother-in-law John Miller and son-in-law Samuel Hanna. Samuel Hanna and John Miller named as executors.

  3.   Can anyone provide accurate info on the parents of this William Crawford? The Ancestry link shown here says that his parents were James Crawford and Mary Robertson as do several other Ancestry entries. Most sources say that the William Crawford that married Mary Robertson died in about 1750 thereby making him not the father of William Crawford b. 1759. The possible source of this parent relationship is a book "My Henton Lineage" published by Dr. George Earle Henton in 1960 and copied on the Union County, Indiana GENWEB site. No sources are shown in the book.
