Prudence (Reid) Crawford married second, in Ninety-Six District,12 in December 1781,
James Baskin and had two sons Thomas Stuart Baskin and Hugh Baskin.
(a) Thomas Stuart Baskin; born Abbeville, SC, Sept 2, 1782; died Talladega Co., AL,
Aug. 29, 1846; married March 13, 1806, Elizabeth Harris Long (born Aug. 9, 1789; died
Talladega Co., AL, Jan. 16, 1849; daughter of Henry Long and Rebecca Harris); and they moved
to Alabama in 1819; had eleven children.
(b) Hugh Baskin; born Abbeville Co., SC, July 3, 1785; married Sarah Brown; and had
nine sons.
