The Hub (Stoughton, Dane Co, Wisconsin)
    March 27, 1884

Just after going to press last week we were startled to hear that Mrs. Wm. M. Coates was dead. Her death was occasioned by child-birth and a failure to call a physician at the proper time. It is the more sad, that she leaves a family of eight small children. The sympathies of the ladies were aroused, and for the time being, at least, all that mothers could do has been done. We bespeak for the family kind remembrance in the future. Mr. C. Has the assurance that many sympathize with him in his bereavement.
