U.S. Army Ret. : Clark, William - entered service 1778 in Hampshire County, Virginia; born 1760 in Pennsylvania & moved at age 10 to South Branch of Potomac River in Virginia; moved after Revolutionary War to Randolph County, Virginia, thence to Lewis County, Virginia, where granted Pension in 1833, died there 7/23/1841; married 8/8/1798 to Barbara/Barbary, daughter of Jacob Helmick, Randolph County, Virginia; widow granted Pension age 72 in Upshur County, Virginia, 1851 & died 8/30/1855.
